What antifragile means?
Let's start by a few definitions first:
- Fragile: something that depreciates in features/value when in contact of stress (Example: tech companies, crypto altcoins)
- Robust: Robust is the contrary of fragile. Those assets are naturally strong against a stressing environment but don't appreciate in value
- Anti-fragile: something that appreciates in value when in stress
Examples: Gold, Bitcoin, and even us humans Gold is known to appreciate in value during financial crisis
