Trading 1 asset per asset class isn't recommended from a performance and psychology perspectives
Sometimes by minimizing risks, we minimize the opportunities.
Learning how to deal with this frustration and letting our anger fading away.
Very often, the entry on 1 asset will be perfect. Sometimes, it won't be easy.
Of course , trading multiple assets allow to hedge
the risk of not getting filled in 1 of the selected assets.
Imagine trading 1 unique asset, waiting for a signal for days, but missing the signal for whatever reason (you were away, order not filled, ...), this is very frustrating
After a bit of practice, you won't feel angry anymore - you won't even care.
And that's the perfect mindset
A way that I find to not giving a Fook
is trading multiple assets.
I may miss one opportunity but generally, I'll get other moves with other assets for that asset class
Similarly, trading uncorrelated asset classes (indices, crypto, ...) increases your hedge even more
