How to import and export any TradingView script settings?

Introduction

Whenever you have an indicator with tons of inputs, you know that anytime you change the source or download a new version that you're losing your config. It's annoying and time-consuming to re-insert the 50 inputs of our favorite indicators every time

This extension works with the Opera browser as well

Step 1: Download the Google Chrome extension

Step 2: How to export a TradingView indicator or strategy configuration

• Go to your favorite indicator settings and click on Export
  This option appears after the extension has been installed.

• It will export the configuration in your clipboard.

• You'll only need to paste it in a text editor and use this output later

Step 3 - How to import a TradingView indicator or strategy configuration

Paste an export file into the indicator extension panel and click on Import

This will use your previously pasted configuration and fill all the indicator (or strategy) fields

For the old scripts, it's still working

Now that TradingView introduced inputs to be grouped or inlined, whenever a script use those features, the extension won't work anymore

I'll think of dropping them a note about it

I'm not aware of any alternative for now
