What is Forex trading?
The currency exchange rate is the rate at which one currency can be exchanged for another.
It is always quoted in pairs like the EUR/USD (the Euro and the US Dollar).
If the exchange rate rises, you will sell the Euros back, making a profit.
Forex is one of the most liquid market. Liquidity is wanted by traders but doesn't mean at all that FOREX is less/more risky than other asset classes.
Forex markets exist as spot (cash) markets as well as derivatives markets offering forwards, futures, options, and currency swaps.
They can be traded with many brokers worldwide.
Our Universal framework can also be used on Forex pairs
Our Algorithm Builder FOREX has been designed in m5 to reduce the risk as much as possible. It's a good way to trade this market with intraday trades.
However, the Algorithm Builder Universal is a good alternative for the traders looking to trade the FX pairs using a SWING methodology.
The differences with the FOREX framework are:
- more time to prepare
- implies a bigger risk (stop-loss) due to the higher timeframe used by the Universal trading model
The Universal can be used in parallel to our other frameworks.
Checking the Universal trend before getting into an Algorithm Builder Forex trade is very good practice. It helps to quantify the risk more accurately.
